GENERAL MEETING MINUTES
May
5, 2008
Lisa
Albers opened the meeting with a prayer followed by the Pledge
of Allegiance. Lisa Rivera and Beth Wise approved the February
minutes. Heidi Haar and Denise Foppe gave approval of the agendas.
The Treasurer's reports were read and approved by the following:
PAT/Music/Athletics – Laui Brueggemann and Amy Krebs.

Business
•
KC Dinner – Thanks to all who help. Mrs. Booth
will have information regarding the amount soon.
•
Plant Sales – Plants are to be picked up this weekend.
•
History/Science Fair – Very nice. The teachers
did a great job; wonderful presentation.
New
Business
•
Beach Blast - Two new chairs for the 2008 Beach
Blast: Jenny Rivera and Danielle Trame. This will be held the
first Saturday of November (11/01/2008). Mark your calendars!
Anyone who wishes to know more or volunteer, please come to the
BB meeting May 20. A note will be sent home including more info.
•
New Preschool room - PAT will be donating funds
for paint.
•
Teacher Luncheon - There is a good amount of volunteers.
Thanks for all who help with this.
•
Spring Fling - Mrs. Krebs is organizing this. Police/Fire
dpt. donate/serve lunch for this. This year we have got inflatables
that can be used inside or out (in case of bad weather).
•
Wish Lists/In-Service - PAT will be providing funds
for teacher seminars and in-services up to $200.00 per teacher.
If there are any additional items teachers would like for classrooms,
please contact PAT and we will be happy to help.
•
PAT Contributions List - Handout given that includes
list of all items/services PAT funded for the 2007-2008 year.
Asked for suggestions by parents and teachers of what they feel
PAT funds should also go for; what other useful items does the
school need.
•
Mandatory Volunteer Program - Parent feedback and
ideas. Discussed the fact that we need more parents to volunteer.
Discussed ways to get new parents more involved. We received lots
of feedback and appreciate everyone's opinions.
•
Purchase of laptops for Beach Blast and PAT use.

District Solos Contest - Great!
•
District Org. Contest - We got First. It went well.
•
State Org. Contest - Chorus received First and
Band received Second.

Business
•
Spring Concert - May 7 - set up tomorrow at 6 p.m.
•
Donuts will be Thursday, May 8.
•
Graduation is May 14.
•
Officers 2008-2009 - TBA.
ATHLETICS

3-on-3 Tournament - Went great!
•
Bleachers - Still in discussion. Working with Building
and Grounds Comm. regarding this.

•
Physicals - May 22 at 3 p.m. Note will be sent
home.

Track Season - Going well.
•
Registration - May 8 6-8 p.m. for all fall sports.
You MUST be registered for school first.
•
2008-2009 Coaches - Everyone in place.
•
