Next Phase of Construction Project Announced

Press Release

All Saints Academy has announced the next phase of their construction project as the new building expansion

nears completion. Construction of a bus lane and renovations for the gym entrance and existing classrooms are set to

begin in June 2024.

Due to tremendous growth and future projections, in 2022 All Saints Academy began a capital campaign with a goal of

raising $2.9M to fund an addition to the west side of the elementary building to include five classrooms, an outdoor

learning space, faculty conference room and staff office space. Also included in the fundraising goals were plans to

remodel the main gym entrance and renovate the current classrooms on the southeast corner of the gymnasium to allow

for improved utilization of that space. The classrooms being renovated will be transformed into a multimedia center to

allow further growth and education opportunities for students.

Construction began for the new addition in fall of 2023 and is planned to be completed by the end of the school year,

ahead of schedule.

“We are thrilled to see our dream come to life as the new addition is almost complete,” shared Mrs. Kahiwalani Goetsch,

principal at All Saints Academy. “Our building and finance committees have been working closely together to ensure

fiscal responsibility and making changes to save where we can to keep the project moving forward as we continue our

fundraising efforts. We are also thankful for the support of the Belleville Diocese and all our generous donors as we

would not be making the strides we are without them.”

The early completion of the addition comes at an opportune time to get started on the bus lane and renovations while

students are enjoying summer break.

All Saints Academy is projected to have 396 students in the 2024/2025 school year. The space provided through the new

addition will be welcomed as the school prepares for August.

“As our enrollment continues to grow, we are thankful to have the support of our community to ensure those who are

seeking faith-based education are able to do so at All Saints Academy,” added Goetsch.

Fundraising efforts are currently at $2.1M with a goal of $2.9M. If you have questions about the project or are interested

in donating, please contact Dustin McSparin at (618) 526-4323 or visit asasaints.com/building-campaign.

Finishing touches are in progress to complete the new addition at All Saints Academy.

The next phase of the project includes updating the gym entrance and transforming two classrooms to a
multimedia center, along with the addition of a bus lane.
